I have been with the msg group since 2004 and have held quite a few roles during that time. It all started when I realized I was not very happy working on the physical engineering degree I had just started, so I began looking for alternatives. As a result of my affinity for IT – I had been active in the field for years already in my personal life – I thought that might be a good field to go into. I began my IT career as a vocational trainee for the profession of system integration IT specialist. The credits from my university courses were recognized and I was able to shorten my vocational training to 2 years, and still managed to complete my exams with honors. At first, my work as a consultant kept me close to the business side of things, and I assisted my colleagues in many different projects. Gradually, I was assigned my own projects and I began to specialize in Citrix topics.
Toward the end of 2009, I was assigned responsibility for a major migration project for a financial service provider and ended up assuming general responsibility for that customer in 2012.
In 2015 I was then put in charge of a consulting department in Berlin and Hanover. Since 2020, I have been Head of the Customer Services Division and am responsible for our customers.
I am very proud to be one of two employees at msg services who have made their way from apprentice to management. It shows just how much you can achieve at msg services through dedication and hard work.
An exciting journey that has never been boring. The different divisions with their unique and diverse tasks, not to mention the interesting customers with their multifaceted requests and demands, it all offers so many development opportunities.
